Cubic sculpture made out of 42 layers of 1/4″ birch plywood cut with a CNC router, then stacked together. The Shou Sugi Ban technique (traditional Japanese wood preservation technique that involves charring the wood’s surface to protect it from fire, water, insects, and UV rays) was then used to give it a black color.
