Lost & Found: China Archives

intersection in xi'an, china, 2011

This weekend I decided to do some cleanup in my things. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time: retrieve everything from my old laptop and put it on a external hard drive. Make sure I have a backup of that thing. It took almost half an hour to power up my old Toshiba Satellite, but once I got it up and running……

I found this folder “CHINA 2011” containing all the photos (over 1600!) that I took on my school trip to China back in high school. I had borrowed my dad’s Canon PowerShot point’n’shoot digital camera. During the trip I captured whatever I found interesting or surprising, I guess. I didn’t know anything about photography back then, so going through the snapshots and finding some good ones was quite amazing.

Here is a collection of my favourite photos taken in April 2011. The locations were Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. All these photos have been processed with VSCO on my iPhone.
